Computing center of East China Normal University

East China Normal University, "ECNU" for short, created in 1951, is the first normal university in new China. It is established with the joint efforts of central government, Ministry of Education and Shanghai government, ranking in 985 project, 211 project and 111 plan of China. It is a main construction prestigious university and in a leading position of Normal universities in China. The university has Minhang campus and North Zhongshan Road campus now, which are located in Minhang district and Putuo district in Shanghai respectively. They cover an area of over 3100 Mu, and are regarded as the most beautiful campuses with beautiful environment.

East China Normal University high performance computing center have the first, second and third -stage constructions. In the first-stage construction, each blade computing node of total 60 is configured with two four-core Xeon E5450 3.00 GHz processors. In the second-stage construction, each blade computing node of total 60 is configured with two four-core Xeon E5640 2.67GHz processors. In the third-stage construction, each blade computing node of 148 is configured with two six-core Xeon X5675 3.06GHz processors, in which forty of them are GPU nodes. The system is equipped with a set of Lustre parallel file system, and adopts the QDR In finiBand network. The computing center is equipped with Sugon Gridview.2 cluster management system uniformly.
